Gene therapy is the treatment of diseases based on the transfer of genetic information. Agents that carry or deliver DNA to target cells are called vectors. Vector development is the first step in realizing our goal to stop the progression of Batten for Joseph and other children. We are currently working with teams of scientists to develop these vectors, and ground breaking science isn’t cheap.
